Issues of biomedical support of sports in medical sociology

Three main directions of research of biomedical support of sports have been distinguished: issues of adaptive (accessible) sports, medical and social issues of ex-athletes and sports medicalization. There has been little research into these issues, which results in the absence of any developed concepts of various aspects of biomedical support of sports.
