Issues of modernization of engineering education in the Kyrgyz Republic

This work is devoted to the modernization of engineering education in the Kyrgyz Republic. Scientific methods of analysis, comparison, generalization and modeling are used. As a result of the conducted research, the goals, objectives and targeted ways to solve the problems of modernization of engineering education in the Kyrgyz Republic have been identified. The work experience and modern development models of the world's leading technical universities are analyzed. The main directions of modernization of engineering education in the Kyrgyz Republic are defined. A generalized model of a modern technical university 4.0 has been developed and the expected results in the case of the implementation of this model are presented.
