Population safety issues: social and psychological support, support for families of SVO participants

This article examines the comprehensive system of social protection and psychological support for families of special military operation (SMO) participants in the Russian Federation as a comprehensive measure to support families facing difficult life situations and in need of additional protection. The legal framework providing social guarantees, payments, and benefits for this category of citizens is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to social support technology as a key tool for targeted and effective assistance to families in difficult life situations. Institutional mechanisms for implementing this technology at the federal and regional levels are described, including the activities of social coordinators, curators, and psychologists.
