Issues of development of the Russian energy system in modern conditions

The article is devoted to topical issues of the functioning of the Russian energy system. The problems and prospects for the development of this sector of the economy in the post-Soviet period are considered. It is noted that one of the main key problems in the functioning of the Russian energy system today is outdated equipment. Particular attention in the article is paid to solving the problem of replacing foreign components in the context of the aggravation of the geopolitical situation and the sanctions policy pursued against Russia.
