The article discusses the issues of regulating employment in the implementation of regional policies, identified factors reflecting intraregional differentiation and affecting the state in the field of employment in the region. The need to allocate in the region of territorial and economic entities, taking into account intraregional differences, the specifics of employment in territorial and economic entities with a narrow-profile specialization of the economy and proposed main directions of employment regulation in the implementation of regional policies.
