Developing a Culture of Safe Behavior in Minor Road Users: Russian and Foreign Experience

Introduction: the article examines approaches to the formation of a continuous education system in the field of road safety for children and adolescents. The need for continuity of educational practices at the stages of preschool, school and extracurricular education is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the regulatory framework for organizing work on the prevention of road traffic injuries in the Russian Federation, including the provisions of federal standards, the activities of children's and youth public organizations, as well as successful foreign practices in this area of activity. Materials and Methods: the study uses a systemic and comparative-analytical approach, analysis of regulatory documents of the Russian Federation, methodological materials and international practices. Results: it has been established that the Russian Federation is implementing a model of continuous education on road safety with the participation of formal education and public movements. Foreign practices emphasize the importance of standardization, interdisciplinarity and the involvement of all participants in the process. Discussion and Conclusions: the relevance of developing a systematic and coordinated approach to road safety training is confirmed by both domestic realities and international experience.
