Training of legal culture as a socialization factor of adolescents

The need to train legal culture is explained by the fact that in recent years child neglect, crime and drug addiction have been increased. Pedagogical papers analyzed show that adolescents have become more aggressive and to prove they are strong they participate in different anti-social acts. Moreover, many children are excluded from the dysfunctional families. The aim of the work is to determine the theoretical and methodological content of the concept “training of legal culture as a factor of socialization of adolescents”. To achieve this goal we analyzed the literature on the problem of legal culture as well as legal and regulatory documents in the field of education and compared the positions of scientists on the nature of concepts: “legal culture” and “socialization”. The content of the concept “training of legal culture as a factor of socialization of adolescents” was determined and its characteristic features were clarified. The results of the research can be used in the practice of socialization of adolescents in various types of institutions of additional education, in particular, for the development of the programs on legal education of the younger generation.
