School age is when the basics of axiological attitude are set. In this article the following questions are explored: importance of forming students' axiological attitude to music as a personality development factor; evolution of the term “value” in historical context; levels of art influence on people; levels of assimilation of values by an individual and extrapolation of those levels applied to music.
