This article reflects the relevance of studying the features of the management of the educational system in educational organizations of cadet orientation. The concept of "educational system" is revealed. The main features of the functioning of the educational system, its components are reflected. The work also contains an analysis of the structural management model of the educational system in educational organizations of cadet orientation on the example of the Orenburg Presidential Cadet School.
