Educational process in primary schools of Eastern Siberia on the verge of XIX-XX centuries

This article analyses the features of the educational process in primary schools of Eastern Siberia in the last decade of the XIXth century and the first decade of the XXth century. Both positive and negative trends and changes in the development of the educational process are described. The content of educational work which took more and more independent value is reflected, there was an enrichment of its forms and methods promoting the expansion of the possibilities of the development of amateur performance and thinking activity of pupils, and their personal growth.
