Obstructing the provision of medical care (Article 124.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)

The article is devoted to the characterization of an act obstructing the provision of medical care as an obligatory sign of the objective side of the corpus delicti, the responsibility for which is provided for in Art. 124.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The definition of «obstruction» as a criminal-legal category used in the domestic criminal law is given. The characteristic of acts impeding the provision of medical care is given, which allows to distinguish the corresponding crimes from lawful behavior.
