This article analyzes the minutes of Komsomol meetings, transcripts of conferences, which have preserved a lot of evidence of the attention of young people to the problems of mastering knowledge, as well as specific issues in the organization of Soviet education. The texts of the so-called "laws of workers 'honor", which were adopted at many enterprises in the late 1950s and early 1960s, are considered. The article refers to the value attitude of young people to knowledge and education, which was due to the understanding of the importance of the knowledge, skills and abilities they acquire, as well as the desire to develop creative abilities.
