Risk in the labor market for humanitarian universities graduates is that the diploma does not provide a firm guarantee of getting a good job and achieving high social position in the society. The study clarifies the concept of human capital of humanitarian universities graduates. The author interprets it as a set of knowledge, abilities, skills and personal qualities of university graduates, which contribute to their demand at labour market. The author's study showed that two-thirds of university graduates highly appreciate the knowledge gained at the university as their human capital. Among the personal qualities needed by graduates, they note stress resistance, self-confidence, communicability, restraint and patience. An additional factor that increases human capital at labour market is proficiency in foreign languages. The lack of practical experience reduces demand for graduates, and therefore their human capital, but that can be reduced by on-job trainings.
