V. N. Vostrikov “Vladimir Ivanovich Volodin”: monograph

“Vladimir Ivanovich Volodin”, a monograph, is devoted to the famous fine arts expert Vladimir Ivanovich Volodin (1917-2006) who was an honored artist of the RSFSR, director of Kuybyshev Museum of Art and chairperson of the Artists’ Union of the USSR. Significant attention is paid to the key milestones of his life based on Volodin’s memoirs that help to better understand his social and creative activities. The second part of the publication includes archive materials (namely, memories of V.I.Volodin, “Samara in My Life. Reminiscences. Meetings. Thoughts.”) The book contains over 60 photos demonstrating the key milestones of his creative development.
