In the article employee engagement as an actual problem in the field of human resource management and the human capital of an organization is observed. The characteristic of the employee's engaged behavior and organizational engagement are given. The factors affecting the development of engagement are identified. The practice of domestic companies is analyzed. According to experts’ opinion some key areas in order to solve problems with engagement development are identified.
