Impact of new information technologies on contemporary language: systemic-language and cultural-speech problems

The article describes the impact of new information technologies on changes in modern written and spoken language on the example of the interaction of English and Russian languages in cyberspace. It is necessary to mention how to identify and describe the characteristic features of the Internet, which affect not only professional activity, but also penetrate into the personal life of a person as a communication base. The author analyzes the implementation of pragmastilistic means at five levels of text perception: phonetic, morphological, lexical-phraseological, syntactic and graphic. This problem is also complemented by consideration of the peculiarities of the hypertext structure, which is reduced to the description of its main parts, the so-called "content", where the focus is on the beginning or "lead", and due to the limited volume of the Web text, informational completeness of the material becomes particularly important. The author pays attention to the pragmastilistic variety of the Internet chat language, tracing the use of the game form of word formation in combination with slang, which is humorous, as well as using the words of "living" language to designate community groups involved in cyberspace. In conclusion, the peculiarities of using non-verbal language through communication via mobile applications and e-mail are described.
