Clinical effects and action mechanisms of hematogen in complex therapy of copulative and reproductive functions in patients having chronic prostatitis were studied. Efficacy of combined treatment (total nitrogen- silicic thermal baths, exercise, psychotherapy) of 90 chronic non-bacterial prostatitis patients in the framework of randomized, open, comparative study was investigated. Clinical and laboratory data revealed that baseline therapy added by micro-enema containing pantohematogen is effective in 87.3% and is characterized by the recovery of sexual function due to stopping inflammations, normalizing prostate hemodynamics, testosterone level recovery, increased number of spermatozoids. Positive clinical efficacy was revealed in 60.4% of patients.
