Opportunities for analyzing the cyclical development of the economy on the example of Russia

The article considers cyclicality as one of the properties of socio-economic development of the country. The importance of this study cannot be overestimated because cyclical fluctuations that occur under the influence of various macroeconomic indicators significantly affect the country's economy. This work is devoted to the analysis of the development of the Russian economy during 2000-2020, based on the theory of cyclical economic development. The analysis is based on the theory of the Kitchin and Juglar cycles, the Shiposh theory, and the assumption of the interconnectedness of various economic phases with the indicator of the country's GDP level.
