The article considers the possibilities of applying a graphic editor as a means of implementing a competency-based approach in studying descriptive geometry, engineering drawing and computer graphics in terms of computerization of production and education. Besides, the article describes the advantages of KOMPAS 3D graphic editor as part of the educational process.
