Potential and limitations of MLVA method for bacterial strain identification on a set of C. difficle strains

Resume. Clostridiosis is a serious disease in human and animals.Often the disease occurs and develops at administration of antibiotics, which suppress other microorganism species in intestine, thus, removes protective barrier preventing clostridia propagation. This pathogen is assigned to nosocomial infection, that is why genotyping their isolates is an important task in preventive healthcare. Data on use of genotyping based on PCR amplification of repeat elements in C. difficile genome is presented in this article.
