The authors substantiate the relevance of identification of unidentified corpses issues. They provide an analysis of reasons for an increasing demand for research in this field of forensic science. Features of the information resources of the identifying process and problems related to the process are considered. The authors notice the leading role of a dental status in identifying procedure, for instance, bone remains, cut-up, charred, decomposed, mummified body parts. The authors illustrate unidentified corpses identification possibilities by dental implants, dentures and orthodontic appliances. The modern structures used in dental implantation, prosthetic treatment, features of their installation and their basic characteristics are analyzed.
