The potential of the study of the history of the native town by the means of the records management documentation of the industrial plants (at the example of the history of Stalingrad (Volgograd) of the 1943-1945s)

The article deals with the potential of the records management documentation of the industrial plants as one of the sources of the history of the native town. At the example of the records management documentation of the industrial plants in Stalingrad there are analysed the opportunities of these kinds of the sources for revealing the issues of the establishment and development of the residential accommodation and the social policy of both the local and all-union authorities.
