The possibilities of the knee zone CT in the diagnosis and evaluation of Erlacher-Blaunt disease treatment

The condition of growth plates before treatment was studied at the initial stage of Erlacher-Blaunt disease in four patients, and the reorganization outcomes of the tibial medial condyle after deformity correction by the transosseous osteosynthesis method according to Ilizarov - in 33 patients. Besides polypositioal roentgenography CT was used in six patients. CT informative value was shown as for the reveal of disease early signs as also for the diagnosis of premature synostosis of the tibial proximal growth plate and determination of complete elimination of the dysplasia focus.
