Possibilities of SWOT-analysis in the study of public-private partnerships

Countries with emerging economies are currently attempting to use the possibilities of partnership between the state and private business in various sectors of the economy. The effectiveness of such interaction is largely determined by the completeness of a number of endogenous and exogenous factors. In this regard, the article proposes to use the opportunities offered by the SWOT-analysis. The article identifies internal and external factors, opportunities and threats that are inevitable in the implementation of PPP projects. Measures aimed at enhancing opportunities and minimizing threats are noted. The use of SWOT-analysis in the initial stages of PPP projects will allow to identify weaknesses and strengthen the strong sides interaction in a timely manner.
