Possibilities of using digital educational technologies in higher and secondary vocational education

The purpose of this article is a theoretical analysis of the problem of introducing digital educational technologies into the educational process and a description of the practical experience of their implementation at a university. Theoretical approaches to the problem of introducing digital educational technologies into the educational process of universities and professional educational organizations are analyzed. It is digital educational technologies that make it possible to form a sustainable interest in educational activities among students, and to maintain it in the future. The article examines the key aspects of the “Strategy for the development of education in the Russian Federation for the period until 2025”, indicating the need to introduce digital educational technologies. The key advantages of these technologies include the activation of students’ creative thinking, the formation of their value attitude towards educational activities, and the involvement of a wide range of students in participation in traditional forms of educational activities. The virtual educational environment implemented at the vocational pedagogical institute of the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University is described. When developing it, the specifics of educational work in secondary vocational education were taken into account, since the vocational pedagogical institute trains personnel specifically for these educational institutions. The developed virtual educational environment of the vocational pedagogical institute of the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University includes such innovative educational technologies as an educational media library, an interactive teacher’s workshop, a virtual educational office of a future teacher, a portfolio of educational achievements, blogs of teachers on educational issues. The virtual educational environment contributes to changing the student’s self-image in educational activities, has an information and propaganda function, it expands and enriches access to intra-university materials for both students and teachers. Digital educational technologies make it possible to realistically recreate educational situations, allow students to immerse themselves in educational work, and simulate educational activities.
