The possibilities of using neural networks in the economy

The possibilities of using artificial intelligence in various fields of activity have been considered by scientists for decades; this experience has proven itself most successfully in medical research. Scientific works concerning the effectiveness of using neural networks in economics have appeared relatively recently, however, the results of the implementation of neural network technologies in various sectors of the economy have been very successful. In this connection, the purpose of this article is to substantiate the effectiveness of using neural networks in economics. The world powers in the field of introducing neural networks into the economy are: China, USA, Japan, South Korea. The author highlighted the features of the use of artificial neural networks in the economies of foreign countries and Russia. The Russian market for developments in the field of neural networks is significantly inferior to foreign ones. Among the main reasons identified by the author of the publication are: the limited budget of public investment in neural network technologies, the impact of sanctions that led to the severing of logistics ties for the supply of necessary equipment, the cessation of foreign investment, and the outflow of qualified personnel with relevant competencies in the field of working with neural networks.
