Possibility of the strategic planning of labour potential in the light and food industry, and agro-industrial complex

On the basis of the data from a sociological study conducted in three Russian regions, in the economic structure of which a significant role is played by the light and food industry, and agro-industrial complex, the article presents analysis of the human resources in the relevant industries, ways to fill vacancies, factors determining the planning horizons of enterprises, and the effects on them of the recently adopted laws on the strategic planning and industrial policy.
