Postoperative complications were registered in 32 (21.3 %) patients, of them «surgical» complications were observed in 13.3% of the patients and «non-surgical» in 8.0 % of the patients. Postoperative lethality rate was 6.7 %. In the control group (150 patients), where surgery was not followed by mediastinal lymphodissection, the complication rate was 18.7 % and lethality rate was 20 %. When following the adequate technical procedures, bilateral mediastinal lymphodissection resulted no in surgical risk increase for lung cancer patients.
