The emergence of the concept of the information society: philosophical analysis

Бесплатный доступ

This article examines the emergence of the concept of the information society in the world. New information systems have opened up unprecedented opportunities for scientific and cultural communication. Traditional forms of education have changed and been supplemented, and distance learning methods have emerged, which have removed a number of restrictions in acquiring knowledge associated with distance from scientific and cultural centers. Today, globalization in economics, computer science and culture attracts much attention. But even within the sphere of science, or rather the development of science, features of globalization appear that influence the adoption of appropriate scientific guidelines. In general, this is a single process that affects all components of modern social development. As a result of the globalization of various aspects of social life, a fundamentally new socio-natural reality is being formed, the adaptation of which to the conditions presupposes the presence of qualitatively new scientific knowledge about the interrelations and synergistic interactions of social, political, economic, technological and environmental factors.
