It was done the analysis of Doppler age-related aspects of hypertensive remodeling of common carotid arteries. As a result of study in patients with high blood pressure it is revealed an increase in the diameter of the common carotid artery, a significant increase in the thickness of the intima – media complex, a reduction of the maximum, minimum and average volume velocity of blood flow, and a significant increase in IR, IP, S/D, indicating the increase in the density of vascular walls and the increase in peripheral resistance to blood flow. Significant difference between a condition of the common carotid artery, depending on age, for men and women is not revealed. With the increase of the degree of arterial hypertension increased the revealed changes, which had a great importance in patients with arterial hypertension of the 2nd degree. As a result there are conditions for violation of the power of brain structures.
