Age-related changes in the growth and development of tail vertebrae in rats

The purpose of this work was to study age-related changes in the growth and development of tail vertebrae in rats. The method of investigation was radiography followed by vertebrometry. Because of the study, it was found that the intensity of growth of the caudal vertebra changes with age. The tail vertebrae grow most intensively until the age of 4 months, then the growth rate decreases.
