The revival of the merchant tea ceremony traditions

Tea ceremony is a symbol of hospitability; it is an invitation for conversation. In ancient times tea was also an indicator of family material well-being and prosperity. To give a full idea about tea ceremonies on the tourism market of Buryatia and Russia different programs of tea drinking in the cities located at «The Great Tea Way» were studied. The implementation of the project "Merchant tea ceremony» will allow to get acquainted with the culture and lifestyle of the merchants of Verkhneudinsk city, learn how to brew and drink tea like a merchant, try on the merchants' clothes and take a picture with the help of a professional photographer.
