The tense and aspect characteristics of the participial forms in Korean language

This article deals with the issue of tense and aspect characteristics of participial forms of Korean language. In Korean, there are three participial forms: present, past and future tense. It is considered that the participial form as a special form of a verb have such verbal signs as category of time and category of aspect. However the past participle can be used together with a suffix of the past tense, that doubt the previous common statement and raise the problem of belonging the participial form '-0-' to the category of the past tense.
