Temporary technologies used in a general education school during the lockdown

The problems associated with the temporary use of distance learning technologies during the coronavirus pandemic are considered. The definition of distance education is proposed, its essence and specific features are revealed. It is shown that the pedagogical technologies and educational materials used in the Russian school in conditions of self-isolation had significant drawbacks that negatively affected the quality of education of schoolchildren. Measures are proposed to eliminate these shortcomings and increase the level of distance education. The conclusion is substantiated that distance learning is not an alternative to traditional classroom classes, but can be used only in exceptional situations or as a Supplement to them.
