Parenthesis structures in communication-expressive syntactic units of conversational speech in fiction of the first half of XX century

The paper considered the expressive core of the parenthesis structures that has been determined by the relation of contrast (between the general line narration layer and an insertion layer), the latter showed the author's private position. An author's line being encased in a parenthesis structure has been positioned for the second layer, at the level of every individual statement and of the whole text; the expressiveness thereat being shaped with the contrast of the general line of successive statements with comments made by the author.
