The second congress of foreign organizations of Socialist-Revolutionaries' Party (Paris, 1928)

The paper examines the organizational problems of foundation and activity of the socialist revolutionary (SR) emigration in the 1920s. It emphasizes the lack of comprehensive scientific history of the SR party in exile, analyzes the peculiarities of emigration of the socialist revolutionaries, the establishment of various intra-party factions, as well as conflicts and contradictions. The special attention is given to the organization of the Second Congress of foreign organizations of the SR party in Paris in 1928, which was as one of the last attempts to achieve party unity among the SR emigrants. The reasons for the forum's failure are also examined.
