Introduction to the value-ontological approach to literature: the structure of the problem field

The article presents a theoretical and methodological marking of the axiology of artistic and literary creativity as a modern emerging philological discipline (direction in literary criticism). To date, a significant amount of theoretical ideas and methodological developments has accumulated, which lie in the problem field of the axiology of artistic literary creativity. This aggregate has already reached a state of critical mass, so it is quite justified to talk about the formation of a separate branch in literary criticism, closely related to a whole area in the humanities, requiring a detailed systemic description. However, the problematic field of the axiology of artistic and literary creativity needs a fundamental theoretical marking, an understanding of the structure of this sphere and an awareness of the specific angle of view on the subject of its study, which will define it as a discipline. The most promising is the value-ontological aspect of the axiological approach to literature, which has its own historical dynamics of formation, the actual internal “landscape”, its boundaries. Its essence lies in the desire to comprehend the special irreplaceable role of the event of creativity in the event of a person, the design of the architectonics of his presence in being. The tasks of literary analysis, taken in this aspect, exceed the problems of analyzing the material side of poetics and the aesthetic study of the art of the word in the narrow sense. They lead the researcher into the problematic field of ontology and philosophical anthropology. Structurally based on the ideas outlined in A.V Filatov’s studies, article essentially clarifies and develops their content in the light of the value-ontological approach.
