The possibility of using PR tools in the field of IT is discussed in this article. The author has shown the specificity of application of PR-technologies in the IT-industry and give some examples of the traditional PR-tools and tools for renovation IT. Also, the importance of combining PR tools in obtaining maximum results has been shown. The author makes a conclusion about the importance and prospects of using PR-services in the IT-sector, in companies with different maturity and size.
