The successful functioning of a trade organization is conditioned by a well-developed marketing strategy. In a competitive environment, the leaders of the organization need to clearly and correctly set goals and develop ways to achieve them both in the long and short term. This article defines marketing strategies and their classification, conducts a statistical review of trade organizations in the Russian Federation, and also developed a set of measures to improve the marketing activities of a commercial organization.
