Using the total cost of ownership indication to select a project implementation option

When choosing an economically preferable option for the implementation of innovations, the indicator of the total cost of ownership is often used. This indicator, while not being an indicator of the economic effect, can nevertheless, under certain conditions, act as a tool for choosing the best, from the point of view of economics, option for implementing innovation.
