The election of 2016: the development problems of the Russian agro-industrial complex

The article addresses the development issue of the Russian agrarian sector that is the most relevant in the modern context of the social, political and economic development of the country. It substantiates the dependence of food and state security on the efficiency of the agrarian sector functioning. The study analyzes the reforming options of the Russian agro-industrial complex supposed during the election programs of the parties participating in the parliamentary election of 2016.
