Identification of facies using GIS materials in terrigenous deposits

This article presents a facies analysis. As a result of the work, it was established that the solution of a number of new theoretical and methodological provisions related to the use of the electrometric method of well research makes it possible to obtain a whole complex of previously inaccessible geological information on the composition, structure, facies nature, paleogeography and reservoir properties of terrigenous deposits in alluvial, deltaic and coastal-marine sedimentation environments. This allows us to search for and identify promising areas for drilling and conducting GTM taking into account sedimentation, in conditions of high production at fields in the final stages of development, in order to extract residual oil reserves and achieve maximum oil recovery factors.
