Revealing of hydrogeological particularities of Pymvashor hydrothermal spring (Chernyshev ridge) by GPR

The results of GPR work performed for the first time to study the hydrogeological conditions and substrate bedding of rocks in Pymvashor hydrothermal spring (Chernyshev Ridge) are presented. The materials obtained are compared with the available data on the tectonics and geothermal conditions of Chernyshev Ridge and adjacent areas. The authors identified vertical zones of fragmentation and water encroachment of landscape bedrocks by which the thermal waters rise.
