In the context of the financial crisis due to the introduction of economic sanctions problems of effective cash flow management in the commercial organizations are of particular relevance. This article describes the features of the Russian cash flow management, the necessity of deeper research, a review of existing economic theory and practice approaches to identify the factors that influence the size and intensity of the cash flows. During the research identified the need to supplement the factors that influence the formation of the cash flows and the expediency of allocation of additional factors such as the rate of inflation; the rate of growth of production; the impact of prices and conditions of sale of products; the risk of cash flows; adopted by the settlement system with buyers of products and raw material suppliers; the value of non-cash payments in the balance of payments of the enterprise; the duration of the operating cycle, and adopted the company's financial strategy. Results of the research have practical importance for the creation of an effective cash management system in commercial organizations.
