Identification of the latent connections in social networks to counteract drug trafficking

The article considers the opportunities and algorithm of detection of the latent connections in social networks in order to obtain information relevant to the disclosure and investigation of crimes in the sphere of drug trafficking. The author shows how the proposed algorithm can be applied to obtain further characterizing information on the persons of operational interest.
