Identifying weaknesses of a construction company based on the dynamic assessment of the level of its competitiveness

The article is devoted to the development of methodical tools, allowing to compare a construction company with its main competitors and to identify weaknesses of its activities based on the dynamic method for assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise. The article conducts a review of the main methods for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages, as a result of which a choice has been made in favor of a dynamic approach to assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise, adapted to the specifics of the activities of construction companies. On the example of the leader of the Russian construction sector, “PIK - Specialized homebuilder”, the assessment of the level of competitiveness has been made using the developed method in comparison with a matching international competitor: YIT Group construction company, Finland. Based on the results of the assessment, weaknesses in the activities of the object of the study have been identified, measures for further development of the company have been proposed, which can improve the current situation. Considering the planned measures, the values of the competitiveness for the next three years have been identified.
