In the article, we analyze the application of modern mathematical methods of logical-and-probabilistic analysis and pattern recognition of the data on abnormal natural phenomena occurred during the periods of the late antiquity and the early Middle Ages in a southeast of the Korean peninsula and in adjacent territories, recorded in medieval Korean and Chinese annalistic sources.
