The article considers live terminological and dead metaphors which influence on expressiveness of the scientific text. Informational scientific text analysis is made as to determine metaphors there. Expressiveness of the scientific text via metaphorical terms is shown. Grammatical classification of metaphors according to different parts of speech is presented.
