Interaction of the inquirer and investigator with operational and investigative units of internal affairs bodies when investigating non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of parental obligations

The criminal failure to fulfil or improper fulfilment of child-rearing responsibilities by a parent or other person entrusted with such responsibilities has become widespread in recent years. In order to improve the detection, investigation and prevention of such offences, the methodology for their investigation must be improved. An important role in the establishment of criminally significant information in cases of this category belongs to the interaction of the inquirer and investigator with operational and investigative units of internal affairs bodies. The authors have identified its organisational, tactical and procedural peculiarities, it is proposed to consider the peculiarities of interaction as an independent element of the methodology of investigation of criminal non-fulfilment or improper fulfilment of obligations to bring up a minor.
