The article describes in brief the specific features of such educational institutions affecting a schoolchild''s personality as a family, a school and peers. It is proposed to study the social situation of development as a certain correlation of social environment and internal conditions of personality formation. The author describes an algorithm of interaction between education institutions in the educational space of the social and cultural environment. Special attention is given to the positive and negative role of peers in the process of personality formation. It is concluded that we should not always put the interests of the team above personal interests.
